SEPI was under contract as a CEI sub-consultant to Mulkey Engineers on the US 17 Jacksonville project. This project is approximately seven miles of new location 4 lane divided highway carrying US 17 traffic bypassing Jacksonville. Overall construction was phased into two separate projects with SEPI providing construction inspection services for each phase. Areas of inspection included concrete testing, asphalt lay down inspection, on-site stream restoration and relocation, erosion control reports, storm drainage installation, daily log reports, soil density testing, and maintenance of traffic.
