SEPI's Survey Division was selected by the Charlotte Airport Authority to accomplish field surveys using conventional survey methods and GPS for the purpose of collecting all physical data for the redesign of drive entrances to the departure deck of the main terminal. Information was collected while maintaining vehicle/walking traffic through the site. While accomplishing the survey, SEPI was required to obtain proper security clearance from the Airport Authority for safety precautions. SEPI surveyors were able to accomplish the field work in less than two working days.
